When I was young, I used to sit outside in our yard that backed up to the woods for HOURS observing bugs and lifting rocks to see what would crawl out. I also created lots of artwork.      

The Bumbleshack Studio is full of creations that make me happy. I am inspired by all creatures great and small, bold color, Pop Art, nature, upcycling and mid-century modern design. I make paintings, art prints and canvases, tote bags, gadget cases, note and greeting cards, childrens’ clothing, dolls, stuffed animals, pillows, upcycled furniture and other household decor.  Pet portraits are my specialty and my favorite things to create!      

I live in a tiny house on wheels called The Bumbleshack in the mountains of western North Carolina, and I work from my home studio with my huge Golden Retriever/Bernese Mountain Dog mix, three cats and a bearded dragon. I also have two awesome daughters, one away at college and one in 3rd grade, and I am slowly working on turning a beautiful piece of mountain property into a fruit and nut orchard with a creekside tiny house Airbnb.
